The Journalism and editing staff of the yearbook attended the 3rd J-Day Workshop put on by Troy University. Over 500 students and 33 schools from around the state were in attendance for the annual event. Congratulations to the yearbook staff for taking home 3rd place in the photography category for this years PLAS 2013 yearbook!

OCTOBER 7TH IS A SCHOOL HOLIDAY
(It is an-service day for all teachers)
Fall Festival will be October 29
Speech - 9th grade : Monday (10/30) we will begin Oral Diction Exercises and on Friday (11/4) we will have our Chapter 12 Test. The 9 weeks is coming to a close and will be here in no time!
Drama - Don't forget we will have our first memorization test for page 1 of Cafe Murder on Friday, October 4!
Art I & II - Mandalas are well on their way to being finished! Finalized pictures to come!
Advanced Art- Honey bear paintings are on their way to being complete and they are looking great!
